I appreciate the chance to speak with people in their communities, at conferences, at rallies, and through workshops. I have given recent talks in Barbados, Brazil, Mexico, Tunisia; at universities across the US (at Harvard, Duke, Stanford, the University of Wisconsin, etc.); and in many community settings (National Lawyers Guild, LLEGÓ: The National Latina/o Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Organization; Wisconsin Statewide Domestic Violence organization; Challenging White Supremacy in San Francisco, etc.)
The topics I speak on include yoga, trauma and healing; multiracial feminist organizing; antiracist activism; reconciliation and redistributive justice; eating problems and recovery; contemplative practices and teaching, etc. I also offer writing workshops (writing in a time of war, writing as if your life depends upon it, writing memoir).
My fees are sliding scale depending upon each community’s resources. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in my traveling to you.
